One of the best ways to build your list without spending money is to participate in giveaways.

These are events where list owners get together and offer gifts to people who sign up for their list. The visitors decide which gifts they want.

This is great for you as the list owner, since people see your optin page without you having to buy advertising or do other work to get them there.

There is some work involved: you’ll need to create or acquire a gift you can give away, and you’ll need to make a signup (optin) page and a download page for your gift.

But if you’re already building a list, you’ve probably already done most of that work. (It’s hard to do without at least a signup page!)

The best thing to give away is something you created yourself, but if that seems overwhelming, you can start with something you have the rights to give away.

If you don’t have a gift you can use, write me. I have a site with well over 100 items you can use for that purpose, and it’s free to join it.

So now you really have no excuse- the events are free, and I’ll even give you a selection of gifts you can give away.

“But I don’t know how to make a signup page!” -> To build a list, you’ll need an autoresponder, and any decent one will give you the HTML to copy and paste on your page. (It’s different for each autoresponder system.)
