Book review: The SEO Mindset

April 15th, 2008 · No Comments

I’ve been reading a new ebook on search engine optimization by Brad Callen, who you may know as the creator of software such as SEO Elite and Keyword Elite.

It’s called The SEO Mindset and is a pretty thorough guide to what’s going on with search engines right now.

The subtitle says it all: long-term strategies for getting and keeping a top search engine ranking.

If you’re looking for a bunch of black hat tricks that may not work for long, this book is not that at all.

Here’s a glimpse at some of the contents:

  • Search engine ranking factors
  • Your SEO master plan
  • Keyword research
  • Competitive analysis
  • Keywords and site content
  • Site architecture
  • Link building basics
  • Link sources
  • Link worthy content

Those are just a few of the 18 chapters in this 128-page ebook, which I recommend if you want to improve your success with the search engines. More about The SEO Mindset

Although I don’t think it’s mentioned on his website, in the ebook Brad includes info on how to get 2 useful pieces of software from him- an article submitter and a program that submits your sites to directories.
